Hey Linda ,

Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the New to Yoga class on sunday.  My shoulders are sore, but I am looking forward to this Sunday’s class already!  Lisa U

Thank you – I have wanted to start a yoga practice for a very long time and there was never convenient time for my work schedule- thank you for having so many convenient times and for having a beginner series where I can learn to feel comfortable. A special thank you to Sue Ward for my first and second yoga practice.

I told the lunch class today, that I helped my neighbor move some furniture off of the back of her truck yesterday, and to my surprise I could lift if and carry it with no problem, I would have in the past had aches and pulled muscles the next day, but I was fine, thank you YOGA!! -- Jeannie Fink

The BEST Christmas present my parents got me was a YOGA PASS! It is awesome! When I opened it, I said, "whoa! Wait. No more gifts! This is IT. Just what I wanted! Just what I needed. It's so great.

This has been an amazing year for me. I've grown, learned, and discovered so many wonderful things about myself, and where I see my passion for health impacting the community. With each new day I identify so many wonderful aspects of myself, and how each choice I make is leading toward guiding others who are or have struggled with the same challenges. Food Day was a smashing success, and I'm looking forward to doing so many wonderful events in the community to continue building awareness, I wanted to pause for a moment to recognize where it all began for me. Last year in December I returned from NY somewhat broken, and lost. I began taking classes in the studio in March, and it was there I learned self acceptance..As Sue continued to teach me, "you are where you are & it is perfect for you". That was huge for me. It gave me a direction. For that I am grateful, and today I continue to spread the word (YIC & YIF) about how your organization supports personal growth.

Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.

I came to only one class at YIC and loved it. Brittany gave a marvelous practice (Thursday, 11 Nov). It was my first chicken-thirty Yoga experience, and I hope to do more when I come back to Conway next month.

I just needed to tell you how GRATEFUL I am to know you, to feel the love and spread the love that we all share, for each other, as different as we are, and for Yoga. It has certainly changed my life as I am sure it has so many others. For that I thank you! If not for walking into YIC those many moons ago where the heck would I be now??? And the best news yet is I think Gary is hooked on Power Yoga! He went to one of Angie's classes, we have done some here and now I got him to go to Mona’s class last night. He says to me, “I want to go at least every Tuesday night and Friday nights, too. I guess that means I need to join?” hahahaha I love him!!! We’ll use passes for the next week or so and see if he follows through but I think he will!! Have a blessed Thanksgiving and be grateful for all the peace and joy you have brought to all of us with your ventures!!
