Do you love to MOVE to music?? Then Nia is for you!  No perfection or prior experience is necessary. Just a love of moving to music. You will be guided through all the movements, from level 1 to level 3. But most of all, you will guided to "feeling good." That is ALL that matters!
 What is Nia?  (pronounced "knee-ya")

Nia is a joyful fitness class combining dance arts, martial arts and healing arts, including yoga.  Nia is adaptable for all ages and fitness levels and awakens body awareness to promote healing and well being.

Nia combines body, mind, spirit and emotional wellness for a fun work out that feels good inside and out.  Come join the barefoot dance with us and discover your body’s natural joy of movement.

Nia's philosophy is “through movement we find health.” 

Nia promotes mindfulness and holistic fitness and well-being. Nia empowers people of all shapes and sizes to connect to their body, mind, emotions, and spirit by paying attention to sensation.

Nia students are guided to mindfully focus on sensation in their body while listening and dancing to music. Each class has its own kind of magic that fosters personal creativity and expression.

Nia is practiced barefoot. Through non-impact choreography and listening to the intelligence of the body's design, Nia delivers a holistic fitness experience. Every class is tailored and adapted to individual needs and abilities. Nia teachers are trained to show  students a variety of intensity levels and ways to modify movements to safely condition their bodies.
